![]() ![]() Anyway… if you love baby’s great! If you love the book that’s great too, I loved the first two books but I just wanted to express why I did not love this book as much as the first two. Also, in reality adoption is a difficult process for anyone but especially lgbtq people because of prejudice. Not every person needs a baby to feel complete. Also, I feel like this “instant family” trope comes up a lot in lgbtq romances and I hate it. First it’s hard for me to read a book with raunchy sex scenes and then a few minutes later be cooing over a baby. And then… WHAM!!!! Surprise baby! Ugh I hated this for so many reasons. The struggles the hero’s have overcome so far feel devastating and honest. Long story long: SPOILERS!!! Last warning spoilers ahead! *Also this is only my opinion! Everything makes sense story wise, the character evolution feels authentic. Long story short: the narration is amazing! A lot of the sex is hot! The conflict feels natural and real, my problem stems from a surprise that happens about halfway through the book and it turned me off so much I ended up returning it. ![]()
